These days, plastic can be found in all parts of our lives from the credit cards we use to the plastic bags in the grocery story. Everyone knows it’s around, but no one really seems to know just how much is being wasted each year. What would you say if we told you that enough plastic was thrown away last year to circle the earth four times? Or that the average American throws away around 185 pounds of plastic in only one year? Well, it’s true, and we want to do something about it. If you do too, here are some ideas of things you can do to cut back:

  • Aluminum straws → Amazon.com has great options

  • Reusable Utensils → Pack them the night before!

  • Glass food containers → Easy to wash :)

  • One Drop reusable water bottles

We hope you join us this #PFW
